EVENT PURPOSE:

The purpose of this event is to provide connections to education, skill training, and employment opportunities leading to self-sufficiency.

Marana Resource Center and Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, Town of Marana, MHC Healthcare, and Marana Unified School District as partners in the Marana Momentum Alliance.

Focus:

The target population will be young adults and adults. Organizations providing information in the following areas are invited to participate: 

  • Training programs
  • GED
  • Certificate programs
  • Apprenticeships
  • Job search
  • Interview preparation (including resume writing and professional clothing/haircuts)
  • College or higher learning
  • Trade unions
  • ESL (English as a Second Language)
  • General Education
  • Scholarships

Event sponsors will be provide 10x10 space, one 8ft table, and 2 chairs. NOTE: Electricity is NOT available. Vendors must follow these guidelines - You must arrive by 8:30 AM to set up your table. - You may arrive as early as 8 AM. - Unload your cargo. Assistance will be available. - You will be directed to an area where you may park your vehicle. No vehicles will be allowed to remain in the unloading area. - Upon your arrival you will be directed to "vendor check in" where your preassigned vendor space will be confirmed and any additional instructions will be provided. - Carry your cargo to your assigned vendor space. Assistance will be available. - You MUST be set up and be ready to greet visitors by 9 AM. - If you are sending an employee to represent your company, please send a responsible adult. - As a courtesy to the other vendors and the public, please stay until the event ends at 12 PM. - Each vendor will be responsible for their own set up and tear down. - Each vendor is responsible for leaving booth area clean with no debris left behind. - Please, no pets!
