The Marana Momentum Alliance empowers everyone to maximize their opportunities and manage their futures by providing resources for career and education, health and wellness, and veteran and senior services.
The alliance brings together the unique strengths and talents of the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, Marana Schools 2340 Foundation, MHC Healthcare, and Town of Marana to increase the beneficial power of their efforts through a series of one-stop shop events.
The public is invited to attend these events throughout the year, and will have access to valuable resources and information that will provide the momentum they need to improve their quality of life.
COMMUNITY FOOD BANK OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA | MARANA RESOURCE CENTER
The Community Food Bank in Marana has served our neighbors in the Marana, Avra Valley, Picture Rocks, and Oro Valley areas since the 1950s. In addition to providing emergency food assistance, we partner with other local nonprofits to provide a variety of services for our neighbors in need. Services include a job resource center and computer lab, assistance with DES and SNAP applications, diapers for infants, GED and ESL classes, services for seniors and vets, and more. We're grateful to our volunteers, donors, and community partners for making our work possible.
MARANA SCHOOLS 2340 FOUNDATION
The Marana Schools’ 2340 Foundation was established to provide support to the outstanding work being done in the Marana Unified School District. The key to a vibrant community is an excellent educational experience for all students.
The 2340 Foundation is committed to providing the necessary resources to ensure equity and excellence are always supported within the Marana Unified School District. Our desire to help the District enrich their focus on teaching and learning for students’ entire education in MUSD, the 2340days from Kindergarten through 12th grade, inspired the “2340 Foundation”.
MHC Healthcare is dedicated to providing excellence in integrated health services to the communities we serve. MHC Healthcare is the oldest community health center, providing continuous health care since its incorporation in 1957. We began by providing medical care to migratory farm workers and other locals in Marana. Today, MHC Healthcare has grown to a network of 14 Health Centers, employs almost 400 staff, and serves over 40,000 patients. Our commitment and dedication to removing barriers towards healthcare services has allowed us to achieve and grow. We will be your healthcare provider for years to come.
TOWN OF MARANA
Marana operates under a council-manager form of government, which combines the political leadership of elected officials with the managerial experience of an appointed professional manager. Marana is fast becoming known as the most business supportive community in Southern Arizona. With exceptional access to multimodal transportation, a newly reorganized Development Services Center and a local government that values corporate investment, businesses both large and small are taking advantage of development opportunities in Marana.
